I didn't even notice it until someone called where I was. Maybe it just wasn't bad where I was. Hadn't looked into it yet.

Okay I looked it up and it took me a while to find something:
http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/new ... df&k=62179

So it was started east of the city and I was quite west when it happened though I think some people I was with said they felt it but didn't know what was going on. I can't remember what we were up to at 8:30pm.

But whatever. That article says there hasn't been an earthquake of this magnitude in some time. Um... there hasn't been an earthquake of any magnitude in like...e ver? I honestly don't think I've ever felt one once.

we had a 4.4 out in the middle of Georgain bay in December ... it made me miss a step... but that was about it... and i was only 25 km away from the center...

good to know you're okay, I'd rather loose yeah to whatever fun you can't remember havingat 8:30 than something stupid like an Earthquake in Ontario...

My friend lives in the East end and said he felt the store he worked in shake. Him, my cat and the girl at the pizza place are really the only people I've spoken to who weren't with me at 8:30 yesterday...

There was a wild one early one morning years ago, you probably weren't born yet since I can't remember how old I was but I was living in Escott about an hour and a bit south of Ottawa. My brother slept through it but I jumped outta bed the entire room was shaking. Anyway, too bad we weren't outside when it happened last Friday, then we mighta known instead of me thinking it was a low flying plane or something.
