hmmm...

Street Figher 2 (because I ran shit in the arcade as chunli for quite som etime)
Shadowrun SNES
Marble Madness was pretty tight
Zoo Keeper was great
One of the Dragon warriors where you get to play a merchant. That was the defining moment in RPGs for me when I beat the game with only 1 hit left on the old sage guy with glasses. He was literally the last party member left and it came down to a single non magical (all MP was gone) strike.

Crystalis was fucking tight too I think iot was better than marble madness. Buit I'm a little tipsty

Ms. Pac-Man is number one in a field of one. There's nothing better.

Though I play Tetris on the cel phone a lot when I visit the shitter. You know, doing lines in the bathroom....

I've always been a whore for Chrono Trigger and Zelda 3. Rounding out the list is probably going to have to be NFL Quarterback Club '96, my favorite sports game ever.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater

PS Street Fighter is quite possible the most OVER rated game ever.

Final Fantasy 7 is the worst thing to ever happen to gaming. It took a perfectly good RPG series and turned it into some dated demonstration of a split second in time's 3D rendering abilities piece of garbage. Not only does it ruin the game by moving it into the 3D world but it is not in keeping with the type of game that the other Final Fantasy games had. One of the basic requirements being that they were actually Fantasty and not some retardedly retarded sci fi type modern/future type game. Let's get rid of all these machines and guns and get back to the magic like it should be.

And I know what all you bitches are wanting to say that other games had like... little robots or crossbows or whatever but in the other Final Fantasy games they referenced old civilisations which had great technology while the prevailing theme of the game was a very old school magic and swords type of medieval place and not some Johnny Mneumonicey garbage.

PS: Johnny Mneumonic is a solid movie

I remember playing some of the oldschool RPGs but I wasnt really old enough to appreciate them. I was only 12 when FF7 came out.

if you dont like FF7, how do you rate all the other newer RPGs?

I don't! I don't play many of the newer RPGs. 100 hours is a bit much for me to play a game. A good RPG should be anywhere between 10 and 30 hours in length.

And when FF7 came out is when I started University so I started to have less and less time to play a video game day and night hence the whole not having time for a 100+ hour commitment.

I was able to find a copy of CV:SotN not long ago. It's pretty good, but I don't have time to spend on games anymore. It'd bad enough I use the Innerweb.
