Post subject: Saw you at the Pizza place today
PostPosted: Sat May 14, 2005 1:14 am
Hi Adam,

I hope youre doing well. I saw you today walking into that Pizza place.

Good to see you again, just wanted to stop by and say Hi since I havent seen you in a while.

I noticed you riding that little horse in your picture gallery. Theres a place I drive by that has a few horses walking around, I bring them apples and carrots, the horses are always pretty appreciatiative. Beats eating grass and dandylions.

Take care.

Best regards,

John

Hey John. Noticed you too. Hope everything is going good for you. The Gabriel's Deluxe is good as always.

So where do you go by that you see horses? They're always fun. My girlfriend has a crazy horse interest. I think they're pretty cool. What I'm really trying to do is breed a Zonkey.

Yeah. John was in the same program as me in school.

I know a good chunk of this board's regular members in real life.

You should go by the place too. These are pretty fine horses. Its on the aviation parkway *behind* the RCMP building.

I just googled this map for you as a rough location. So you get on the EasternParkway at Vanier heading in the direction of RockecliffPark (left.) Theres a little parking lot on the left had side of the road that borders on the RCMP stables and thats where they keep the horses. Dont go to the front of the building, park in this little lot that is on the parkway, and the horses are behind the fence and people stop by and pet them.

The horses are not there all the time, theyre like RCMP horses, but go in the evening and good chance theres like 10 or 20 in the field, then they just see you and approach the fence.

You should go with your girlfriend its pretty fun.

Best regards,

John

Awesome. I'll be sure to check that out. Would like to see those RCMP horses once. Only saw a few of them once at work when they had some bbq thing or something. Really big and they had the leaf thing cut into their fur or whatever you call fur on a horse.

Im surprised that this lot backs right onto the RCMP horse ground.

People can just walk up and feed those horses anything you know. Of course I bring them just one washed de-cored apple sliced up and 2 washed carrots, but theres a lot of crazies out there who might mess with them.

Some horses are well over $100,000USD at least starting for a basic horse, these RCMP horses are pretty nice too. But at night they go back into the stables, they arent out all the time.

Let me know how it goes, hopefully I will bump into you sometime again soon, Ottawa is a small city.

Enjoy the summer and the nice weather.

Take care,

John

Ah yeah I didn't think of that. Could be dangerous. i guess the only alternative is to have like... a double fence around it or something. Sounds like a lot of work. I guess they're really trusting or something. It is Ottawa after all. Who would try to hurt a horse?

THey're almost always in town for the 2 weeks around Canada Day and it's a freebie to go the police college and see'em. I find it beyond dull although one year one guy fell off during the ride drill and couldn't catch his horse. That's the most exciting thing I've seen happen in the 3 or 4 times I've been there.

Free for us or free for everyone? That's cool. I'll have to check it out if the timing works out.

So yeah I go to my 'rents place and I print out that map so I can take it with me and... I think it's still in the printer...

I saw a video of 2 zebras having sex a few years ago. The guy shot and got out of there in 9 seconds and then there was a big trail hanging between them after he pulled out.
