Ugh. Why would people put that on Internet? Why would you help propagate it?

Haha. We've actually had deer in the woods behind the houses accross the street from my house.

There probably aren't any in there anymore since they put that highway in there which killed the cross country ski paths...

There's some in a field near you I would imagine as there's a number East or Woodroofe in that area. I see'em every day in the Experimental Farm fields going to and from work on Greenbank. They're well fed and protected so they thrive. There's usually a few hit every year on the 416. I'm not so sure how you be "more" careful in deer country. They're either gonna dart across the road when you're at the exact spot and you're toast but what can you do about it? Slow to 50KPH in a 100kph zone or more?

Yeah I guess you just look at the side of the road for them or something? Would be hard avoiding deer...

I was driving back from Aylmer once and saw a racoon creeping up on the road. I slowed down but he was moving so slow I just burned past him.

Raccoons, rabbits, turkeys and quails I see a lot of out where we live, but usually see deer closer to town and not in the country

But ya... just have to pay attention to the road I guess... My boss was busy chatting with her husband and did not notice 4 deer on the road, so she clipped the one -_-

Wow. craZy. What are 4 deer doing in the road at the same time? You'd think at least one of them would realise where they're standing.

Well there is a reason for the old adage ... like a deer caught in the headlights ... they don't tend to move.
