Don't knock 98! It's better than ME fo' sho'! 2000 and XP have their issues too. Windows has evolved very little since windows 98. The only considerable difference I can think of since then is NTFS which I believe has been around since windows NT was around the same time as 98.

And you should no assume such a screenshot is win 98 as when you can use the classic theme in XP to have the same look. That's what I use when I use XP which isn't really often but still whatever.

... but yeah that being said I know Janine runs windows 98. I feel the need to defend her computer though as I was on a similar system most of the time until I bought my current system some time earlier this year.

sorry, but seeing as I work maybe 20 hours a week at min wage, and am still in university, do not have money to go out and spend it on computer stuff :?

Agreed!

I don't see why people need to constantly have new computers. If you game or something then you need it. I capture stuff so I needed something more. But unless your computer crashes for no reason all the time then... okay forget it...

Yeah Windows 98 is way better than Windows ME. Windows ME is buggy.
