Although they mostly have confirmations e-mails or unsubscribe information so it's sort of pointless. Anyway here's the kind of stuff I got:

(I got 6 variations of this one because they have different lists)

Subject: Welcome to Just Deals

Thanks for trying our free newsletter, Just Deals.

New editions are mailed on average of twice each month to keep you
informed of special deals available on Powells.com -- hand picked bargains
from our Sale and Used aisles that we think may be of interest to a
discriminating reader like yourself.

We hope you enjoy Just Deals, but by all means, unsubscribe if you don't.
You'll find handy "get me off this list" instructions in the footer of
every edition.

Till next time, enjoy your reading.

Sincerely,
the folks at Powell's Books

This just didn't have the feel of spam. Especially the way the e-mails were coming in every few minutes. Not like an automatic process but like someone manually signing me up for all this stupid shit.

I just wish there were a small enough number of people that hated me so that I could have some sort of idea of who's doing this to me.

Oh and if the person who signed me up for these is reading this I hope your mother drowns in her own shit.

Luckily my work e-mail has no spam on it. I'm not signing that up for anything.
