No I'm not talking about "Super Mario Bros." but "Mario Bros.".

Read it!

Well,

Your Beef was pretty technical so I didnt manage to read through it all in one sitting...

I suppose by Port you mean "ripping off a game from 1986 and reintroducing it into the year 2003 with *slightly* better grahics."

But honestly Man, all those pics on your beef looked pretty much the same to the casual gamer.

Im pretty much into Frogger and BreakOut and cool little games like that. R-Type was my favorite game for a while too. Ninja Gaiden was a classic for the 8-Bit NES.

III go back and read your beef again later when I get a chance. I never let not fully knowing what Im talking about ruin my chance to make a comment :)

Later Man, Take Care,

JB

Well a port is just when they take a game and bring it to a new system. I also used to term to describe when they just copied it to another game on the same system. Sometimes a port is identical to the original and sometimes the graphics are improved upon.

For example Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2 were ported to the playstation (I think it was playstation). I believe the graphics were identical and they just changed the cut scenes. I never played that version since I heard they ruined the button configuration.

I forgot about the e-reader version of the game when I wrote the beef. So many ports.
