What a tool. Who is this video a parody of? Fergie? Sounds more like a parody of herself. By singing this retarded slow version of an otherwise still useless song Alanis Morisette only shows how horrible her own "style" really is.
She want to get down on people for being slutty? Funny I don't remember Fergie (who is admitedly a dirty slut) doing a video completely naked. Hm...
Trying to mock the trends? Does no one remember "Too Hot"? Hm... I think Alanis is a slave to the trends. The emo hippie loser outcast bit she does now is just what's popular. She adapts to the times.
Alanis is as much an exhibitionist slut as Fergie. Why I remember seeing her perform in her teenie boper days wearing a slutty top and a jacket. at the end of the set she flashed open her jacket to show her slutty top to the audience. Well done you hypocrite.
How ironic. (Oh look I actually know how to use the term properly, unlike a certain someone...)

I haven't seen what you refer to but I'm curious ... are you the exact same person you are when you were 17 ... eh, maybe I should rephrase that ... is anyone other than you the same person they were at 17 (hee-hee)

Meh. I like the same things as I did when I was 17 I guess. I just wansn't doing all the sames ones as I was back then. I can't say my general taste in stuff has changed. I don't question that people can change a bit but I don't think this is the case with her. I think she's just a tool doing what makes her money.

Anyway the subject of taste in movies came up in an unrelated conversation today with my brother and he mentioned how I was in the minority as someone who never stops liking things from his past. I tend to agree with that assessment with some minor exceptions of things I watched when I was young because it was on and didn't know any better (Full House for example) but generally when it comes to music, movies, TV, food and women if I was into it 10 years ago I'm still into it now.
