What do you mean by that? You mean like maturity? 'cause I don't think Black Belts do anything when they mature. No spells.

I have no Idea... I never used those guys... I played through once with four fighters AAAA, AAA, AA and A ... damn if I don't still level up characters and then re-name them AA ...for some reason I relied heavily on that guy...and he always came through... always took less damage from the random battles... lasted longer in boss fights....

anywho, that was the Nes version,

played the ps1 version as both white and black mages and then a third time with red mages.

I did 4 fighters once but my game got erased after maturing so I gave up/
