When I want to see basketball, I hit one of the local high schools. I can't tolerate basketball played by anyone older than that. It's all about jams and acting like dorks rather than actually playing. And if you're near a good high school team, you'll see some real ball being played.
Just don't go watch a private school team. Most of 'em suck.

So did I and that tells you the Calibre of CDN Basketball as I am a 5'3" White Dude. Basically Basketball is for the guys that didn't make the Hockey team.

I don't see to many black people at the arena.
Basketball is for the dangerous minorities and the people like me who don't know any better.

My best friend played University ball for Ottawa U ... he's 6 foot 8 though. He got an invite to play for some Canadian league they were trying to start up but as you can guess a Canadian Basketball League is pointless. Think that was it anyway, I don't watch basketball and I'm old and my memory is going.
