Seems to me like every time Castlevania's set foot outside the 2D arena it's been doomed to mediocrity. I doubt a live action film will turn the tide, especially when it's sliding out of Paul Anderson's ass. Repugnant!

Van Helsing was a good concept which failed in it's execution. So as long as this movie is actually well done it will rule. I trust this guy to do a good job as he has done the single best movie adaptation of a video game of all time.

Van Helsing, as much as I love it, does suffer from plot holes you can fly a Boeing 727 through.

But even though I've never played the games, I may check it out.
