Kanata is a "suburb" of Ottawa. It's out in the middle of nowhere that used to be fields. They're ill equiped for having advanced society there. I've worked there and at time the power or Internet could go out on entire industrial complexes just because of a little bad weather and some single line breaking somewhere. Weak sauce horrible little place. Anyway... had to go there to see a movie that was playing no where else.

A little rain. Oh no! So yeah the power goes out with about 20 minutes left in the movie. Sucky. So they should just start it up, right? Hahaha. God no. There's nothing but trained monkeys working at theatres these days. Humans have been all but completely removed from the projection process. It's all so automated. Hell once they sent me to the wrong theatre at some place and when they figured it out the movie had started and they said they were unable to restart it. Idiots.

Anyway they are completely incapable of restarting this movie where it stopped off... so the consolation for jerking us around and ruining our movie going experience? Movie passes! Not just any movie passes though! Movie passes that expire in September! Wow... 2 monhts to g back to the theatre in the middle of BF nowhere.

F the AMC. F Kanata. F the world.

I figured.

Kanata is in Ontario. It's west of Ottawa... though since the amalgamation it's technically part of the new bigger crappier city of Ottawa... which means they can hang clothes lines again.

So yeah just to give you an idea of how retarded these people are. There used to be laws there that said you couldn't put up a clothes line (to dry your clothes) because it looked too tacky. Also you were restricted int he colour in which you could paint your house because it could make your neighbourhood look bad. Pathetic. ... 7032&hl=en

I love the AMC Kanata. I get cheaper tickets. My car doesn't get broken into like if you go see a movie at Bayshore and the screens and sound is better. as for everything else about Kanata, yeah it sucks. Makes Bar Haven look livable.

Well I've never fealt my life was in danger t the Colloseum but it is in an ass part of town. Skeys on the other hand is dangerous for a matinee.

Anyway people in Kanata can't drive. I stop at a stop sign, wait my turn, then go. Well the person going perpedicular barely stopped as i went by. For a moment I thought it was a 2 way stop.. but no it was a 4 way. As I approached it on the way out I see a guy just burn right passed the sign. Idiots.

Indeed! Kanata folks are a different breed, makes me think of southern Ontario.

o_O Well... I don't know anyone who was actually born in southern Ontario... so I chose to not let that comment affect me or anyone I know...

HEYYYYYY, you live pretty darn close to BBQhaven man.

I like the idea of restricting the paint colors ... means the french who move towards the english side of town can't paint their garage door purple. I'm all for that.
