So in an effort to best the 20+ year olds then here's my pop culture xmas special reference quiz.... and thanks to Halden for his xmas specials list and for asking how big the Grinch's heart grew at the office eh...

1. Start with a trick question ... so what is the name of the elf that wants to be a dentist?

2. What's the name of the little girl who helps Frosty in the Frosty the Snowman TV special?

3. In the classic Miracle on 34th Street, what does Susan ask Kris Kringle to get her for Christmas to prove he's really Santa Claus?

4. Who's the coach for reindeer games in the claymation stop action dochickey Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer?

5. What was the Most likely reason of all that the Grinch hated Christmas?

6. What song does the Peanuts gang sing at the end of a Charlie Brown Christmas special?

7. It's Wonderful Life was directed by which famed director?

8. Staying with Wonderful, who "lost" $8000?

9. What's the name of Rudolph's dog sled driv'in friend who helps them out?

10. Easy man easy ... reindeer were scarce so whom did the Grinch us as a substitute?

Something about Angels singing? Not sure.

7. It's Wonderful Life was directed by which famed director?
I know it sounded like Francis Copella... but isn't him.

So the only question I got right is the easy one. I don't test well.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

Hmm, well, have not seen all these movies, and can not say that I remember much of them... so I fail

Say WHAAAAAAA? You've never seen Frosty the Snowman cartoon of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer? Git outta town, what cave have you and Adam been living in lady? No offense, just giving you the gears.

I could see the younger set not watching It's a Wonderful Life or Miracle. in the same way that not many see Casablanca anymore. Classics all around though. I do suggest you watch'em all over popcorn over a snowy xmas. There's no point in doing my Jimmy Stewart as George Bailey impressions if ya haven't seen the movie eh

I haven't heard of any of these, except the Grinch and Charlie Brown... But I haven't seen them.

But I'm English, we just get Mary Poppins... *shudder*

You're English? Who isn't? I believe you're the first person ever I've ever heard who hasn't seen the Grinch.

Janine, whatcha got against Charlie Brown? It's an anti-commercial message and all that jazz too. I even got the CD of music from the show, The Vince Guraldi Trio
