I figured it was time for a new topic...
Over the years, I've listened to a lot of albums. Some I bought for only one song and lived to regret it. Others I bought after making sure there were at least 3 songs I could enjoy and did just that - enjoy 3 songs. And still others became timeless to me and still enjoy a regular séjour in my CD player.

I give you here are my top 10 albums of all time, in no particular order :

1. 5 Days in July (Blue Rodeo) - a non-stop favorite since 1993
2. Throwing Copper (Live) - a classic I bought in 96 and have only fully appreciated since 99 when I bought my first car and finally gave it the playtime it deserved
3. New Adventures in Hi-Fi (REM) - their best album ever in my opinion
4. Break the Cycle (Staind) - the singer's voice sometimes makes we want to weep, it's that good
5. The Distance to Here (Live) - home to my all-time favorite song, The Dolphin's Cry
6. Day For Night (The Tragically Hip) - a timeless classic
7. August and Everything After (The Counting Crows) - 10 years on my top 5 list
8. Sheryl Crow (Sheryl Crow) - I don't listen to it anymore, but I've played it so much in the past that I can't NOT include it on this list
9. Pieces of You (Jewel) - some songs annoy me, but overall this album makes for sweet listening
10. Away From the Sun (3 Doors Down) - my nod to albums released in the last 2 years

Feel free to contribute your own top 10 to this list...make me discover something new :p

taTu's okay but I'm not crazy into them. A friend of mine really is though.

It's not like the M2M chicks are lesbians or anything. Can't have everything. Haha.

ya they rule, i saw them in concert at the corel center when they opened up for the red hot chili peppers. The sound there really sucks and that was about a month before they came out with their album, so the peformance wasn't very good.

but i do have tickets to see them on saturday, in a mid size club so that's good rock.

i'm sure not many people have heard of mars volta, they get no air play at all. Well i don't blame them, their music isn't very commercial and when your shortest song is like 5 mins, that doesn't help.

I saw Lacuna coil last month, that was pretty good
