I didn't touch it all week but Sunday and yesterday I slaved and finally got everything working nice and good. I was trying to get it to work with the Windows Boot loader and it wasn't. Finally I just set my bios to ignore my 80gb drive as it started and took and chance by installing grub on the MBR of my usefull drive. That may sound easy because I'm not explaining the dozen failures and reinstalls.

Anyway I messed things up to work in kde and I'm moderately happy with my setup although it takes really long to boot and there's a lot of work I need windows to do for now so I don't know how much I'll actually be using it.

I didn't know you were into UNIX, aDam ^^ How long have you been using it? I'd love to get suse linux sometime, because of all the free stuff that comes with it... especially what may be a better version of The GIMP!

I guess I've used Unix off and on in school since 99ish. I really only used it a lot at a job I had summer 2000. But since my current job I"ve been in for about a year I've used it a lot.

Been using gimp and it's got some nice features. Still doesn't have some conveniences that Paint has.
