My Sympatico's been pretty stable lately. Never really cuts and the price is the same as rogers. When I was gaming I don't think I ever went LD. The first week of service was unbearable, but ever since then, we haven't had any problems with bell.

I hate Bell like aDam hates Rogers ... takes forever to talk to a person. Some places they've given up offering mail and you sign up with hotmail instead ... ugh. Of course there are other choices but some people ain't that bright.

What? Bell Internet doesn't offer e-mail anymore?

I don't know that they don't for sure in all locations. They didn't for my brother but he lives in the sticks too like Pat. Although they're gonna run high speed shortly by his house but it's the cable people and not Bell..

If you think about it it can't be cost affective to run mail servers when half the population uses gmail or hotmail or whatever mail. But there's quite a few people who wouldn't know how to set up mail unless it came with a CD to install and implicit instructions. ie ... my mom wouldn't know how to sign up for gmail unless I was standing over top of her guiding every single step. It's the program the VCR type people ... and what's a VCR you may ask? LOL

I don't understand what e-mail has to do with location. Sounds like they're just making excuses to avoid doing actual work.

I guess they could have prime email servers and the location is irrelevant, I wasn't thinking. I know my mom has a pop3 email server for sympatico, my brother when he signed up wasn't given a choice. Maybe they're slowly divesting themselves of mail servers
