You can't wait to be told how stupid you are and have all the moments where you should have caught on to the "twist" recapped for you in the last 5 minutes.

M. Night ShammalamaDingDong Blows!

That is all!

Nah, it has something to do with quality filmmaking and other silliness like that. These things must seem so inconsequential next to a great yarn about a scarf-wearing time-traveling dweeb.

Some of us still care about narrative.

So apparently films, made by a man that uses his nickname (he probably gave it to hiimself) because his name is too lame , that are blatantly derivative of real talents (Hitchcock) are what passes for quality now? Oh I am so insulted that a Sci-FI TV show produced on a eighth of the budget doesn't live up to those high standards. Lets see if he can cast himself as the only person with the answers again this time or maybe the Alien/Villians weakness will be air this time instead of the 2nd most common thing on this planet which is WATER? OH Wait isn't every movie supposed to focus on WATER being the bane of someone's existence because the hack of a director almost drowned or some other self-propagating mythology?

I have argued for too long on why this man and his movies suck, I have learned to expect nothing from the Gardner's anyhow. Maybe if M. Night directed a movie where Ben Afflect and Sailor Moon help show the world that the USA is the only saviour the entire Gardner clan will explode in one giant homo-erotic asphyxiation accident in their parents basement.

I. AM. SPENT.

You fault his directing because he's inspired by Hitchcock? At least he lives up to his filmmaking and is one of the only ones making anything remotely original in the genre Hitchcock popularized. Fact remains he's one of the few directors making great thrillers, hell just great movies, consistently on every single effort. He gets great performances from his actors and always creates compelling and believable situations for his far fetched storylines which makes them resonate even stronger. So you felt duped you didn't get the end of the Sixth Sense so in typical overcompensating little man fashion you decided to jihad against the guy. Fine. But give credit where credit is due. This man is a talented director.

I don't care if he gave himself a nickname, I don't care if he almost drowned. It has no barring on the quality of his work which is, with the exception of maybe signs, nearly without flaw.

Nope. I got it but the pompus ass thought everyone but him would be too stupid to and had to recap all his "subtle" (like a jackhammed) hints that should and did tip you off.

I guess I must concede this point. It is true that the world does view unemployed, 30 year old, closeted males, living in their parents basements are the real winners.

So did I, but everyone else I talked to didn't seem to see it coming so I guess he was right to lay it on.

I'm an employed 26 year old living in my own basement. The gay thing may be up for debate but I guess the women I'm living with might argue that point.

Tickets should be on sale now, Halden. Might want to get em early since it will likely be sold out pretty soon.

I think I'm gonna dress as Haley joel Osmand to the premier.
